Dual Enrollment Scholarship
The FDA Deer Hunt offers a scholarship to all FDA students who participate in the Dual Enrollment Program @ LBW Community College, which operates under the guidelines of Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees Policy 801.03. This allows students to earn college and high school credits for the same class.
All college credits earned are transferable to public colleges and universities in Alabama under the State Transfer and Articulation Reporting System (STARS).

Eligibility
- Available to grades 10 - 12
- Students seeking enrollment in Dual Enrollment for dual credit coursework must have a minimum cumulative (*unweighted) high school grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Students who meet the criteria for initial admission for a Dual Enrollment for dual credit program will maintain continuous eligibility so long as they earn a grade of C or better in all attempted college courses.
- FDA Deer Hunt Scholarship funds are available until they run out on a first-come-first-server basis
Scholarship Application
- Upon successful enrollment with LBW, students are automatically applied for the scholarship
- FDA Deer Hunt will pay LBW directly
- Families will be notified of their status and balance due to LBW
Course Registration
- The FDA guidance counselor will assist students with the proper forms and submission
